ARTE Premiere at HKW with drinks & dance on the roof of the House of World Cultures!
The fossil raw material petroleum has manifested itself in many facets of our lives, fueling not only our machines but also our fantasies, desires and dreams over the last 150 years. Today, this age is coming to an end and we are painfully aware of the dependence our modern society has placed on this substance.
The House of World Cultures has been conducting research on the Anthropocene, the man-made age of the earth, for years in various interdisciplinary projects. The exploitation of planetary resources such as oil plays an important role here.
